One Very Late Night in LA...

This photo was taken sometime around close to 2am. A friend & I thought it would be a great idea to take some night shots of the Disney Concert Hall early in the evening so we got there around 7p, but we got a little sidetracked when we passed by a bar down the street from here. Next thing you know, 1am…. luckily I brought a tripod. Tripods are your friend! Especially if you’re also using it to steady yourself, along with the camera!    ;-)

    Lakers Playing at Staples Center

I was lucky enough to snap a few shots of the game before security decided to threaten erasing my card if I didn’t put my camera away. Apparently, they have a problem with lenses longer than like two inches when you’re sitting court-side. The game is so different when you’re down on the floor. It’s almost surreal. Listening to, as well as watching, the drama unfold on the court as the two teams fight for a win is an experience that TV or even the nosebleed section seats will never give you!

Shot in ambient light with my D700 & a 70-300mm Nikkor. Can you believe many of these shots were taken at ISO 6400!!! I love my camera!  :-)
