I love all things tech and I work in Los Angeles supporting the network and server systems at a specialty staffing agency. Hey, it’s better than growing alpacas for a living! ;-)
I ride the razor thin line between insanity/reality in an online/offline world. When I feel the need to retreat to my place of zen for some quality “ME” time, I immerse myself in all things photography related.

My Digital Darkroom
A shot of my post processing setup. The extra gear aside from the computers & screens is a Drobo for central mass storage, assorted external drives, and video post production gear for when I edit in Final Cut Studio. Not shown is my trusty 15” Macbook Pro that goes with me in the field for edits, CF card offloading into Aperture, etc. a second Drobo that I use for Secondary Aperture Vault & Lightroom Catalogue Backups, and a 2TB Buffalo Terastation NAS for secondary data backups of all digital assets. When I need the ultimate in portability but still need the flexibility for for edits, CF card offloading into Aperture, etc. I use the featherweight MacBook Air 11” along with a Wacom tablet. This combo is proving to be very useful, without adding too much weight. I use the DataColor Spyder 3 to calibrate all my displays for accurate color rendition, and the Datacolor Spyder Cube for calibration in the field.
