A Quintessential Seattle Experience

In Seattle, there lies a very unique place born of creativity, and expressed through fluid glass masterpieces that evoke a sense of awe in me that such delicate beauty exists. Bold, yet delicate, powerful and evocative in scope, the Chihuly Garden & Glass installation is a one of a kind treat to the visual senses. With every piece hand blown and shaped by true artisans of the trade. For those that can appreciate the level of skill and artistry it took to plan, build, and execute the delicate glass artwork pieces, this is a must see stop during any visit to the city! I took the above shots on my recent trip here, and it doesn't do it justice. Go visit! Many of the installations will change during the seasons, and as time passes by!

A New Day Breaks...

There a few moments in life that lead to personal epiphanies. Sometimes it’s spurred by a place, thing, or person. For me, it was standing on this beach looking back to this view and realizing that for as much as the world can be an ambiguous and sometimes cruel place, it can be just as beautiful and great.

“Life is like a game of cards. The hand that is dealt you represents determinism; the way you play it is free will.”

New York on the First Summer Solstice Day

…I spy with my little eye an awesome sight! Taken from the Queensboro Bridge on the first day of summer solstice 2012. It was a crazy thunderstorm brewing, and you can see here mother nature about to wind up & pitch NYC it’s fast thunder-ball to an unsuspecting populace.

Another Day in Hollyweird...

I pass by this place everyday on the way to work and the other day, as I was driving by, the clouds were about and there was a light sprinkle in the air. I looked up in the spilt second as I passed by and decided to snap this view: A stolen glance at an oddly quirky LA landmark that I can't help but stare at each day...

As I was strolling around TriBeCa the other day, I came upon this scene and had to capture it. I love NYC architecture! :)
